Job summary

RLB LLP is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead compilation engagements and mentor junior staff. You will work closely with clients to provide top-tier service in a hybrid (in-office or flexible) Ontario setting.

Ideal candidates have CPA credentials, public accounting experience in compilations or assurance, and proficiency with CaseWare and TaxPrep, plus strong client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• CPA designation and active involvement in public accounting.
• Experience in compilations or assurance engagements in a CPA firm.
• Proficiency with CaseWare, TaxPrep and MS Office tools.
• Strong client relationship and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute compilation engagements across multiple industries.
• Coach junior team members and share technical knowledge.
• Work directly with clients to deliver high-quality service.

The Opportunity: Senior Accountant

We're growing and looking for Senior Accountants who are as curious, collaborative, solution-focused and committed to lifelong learning as we are. In this role, you'll lead and execute compilation engagements across a wide range of industries, coach junior team members, and work directly with clients to provide top-notch service.

If you have:

• CPA designation (or close to it!)
• Public accounting experience in compilations or Assurance
• Experience with Caseware, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Office tools would be a bonus
• A collaborative mindset and strong client relationship skills
• A curiosity-driven approach to learning and problem-solving
• A love for mentoring and working on dynamic teams

The Fine Print

Location: In-office, or hybrid in one of our offices.

Pay Range: $60,000 - $95,000

Compensation within the advertised range is based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and professional designations. RLB LLPrecognizes that candidates may not fit precisely within a predefined range; therefore, final compensation will reflect the full breadth of skills, experience, and expertise the individual brings to the role.
