*\*\*Responsibilities\*\**- Manage full-cycle accounting for small to medium-sized, owner-managed, profit-oriented, and not-for-profit clients.- Prepare and review compilation, review, and audit engagements in accordance with Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Accounting Standards for Not-For-Profit Organizations (ASNPO).- Conduct technical accounting research and provide precise, practical recommendations to clients.- Prepare financial statements, adjusting journal entries, and perform account reconciliations.- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring clear and professional communication.- Mentor and review the work of junior staff, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.- Prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a dynamic environment to meet deadlines effectively.- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and accuracy.- Contribute to team meetings by sharing knowledge and supporting the success of fellow team members.- Maintain accurate timekeeping and uphold high standards of professionalism and ethics.*\*\*Requirements\*\**- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.- A minimum of two years of experience in full-cycle accounting within a public accounting firm, preferably focused on small to medium-sized, owner-managed, profit-oriented clients.- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian Accounting Standards for Not-For-Profit Organizations (ASNPO), along with relevant technical literature.- Proficiency in preparing compilation and assurance engagements.- Demonstrated technical accounting skills and research capabilities.- Ability to communicate accounting knowledge clearly and utilize critical thinking skills in addressing client inquiries.- Exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail, with proficiency in prioritizing multiple responsibilities.- A proactive approach, sound judgment, a strong work ethic, and a desire for continuous learning.- Capacity to think projects through to completion, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment and adaptability to change.- Strong oral and written communication skills, alongside interpersonal skills.- Flexibility and a strong ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines.- Problem-solving aptitude, with the capability to design and enhance processes.- Active participation in meetings and group efforts; actively shares skills and knowledge with others, seeks to learn, and acknowledges team members' successes.- Contributes to the improvement of the organization by sharing ideas and facilitating effective communication across all levels.- Recognizes the significance of attendance, punctuality, and diligent timekeeping and their effects on team dynamics.Job Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per yearWork Location: In person
