This role is designed for an experienced public practice accountant who is ready to take greater ownership of client files, build stronger relationships with business owners and work more closely with Partners and Managers. You will support a diverse portfolio of privately held businesses and their owners, combining year-end accounting and tax compliance with growing exposure to tax planning, business advisory, estate and succession planning, and outsourced CFO services. For someone looking to continue progressing in public practice, this position offers a path toward a Manager-level role as your technical, client management and leadership skills develop.

  • Identify accounting, tax and business issues and work with Managers and Partners to develop appropriate solutions
  • Communicate directly with clients to gather information, answer questions and keep engagements on schedule
  • Build an understanding of each client's business, ownership structure and broader financial circumstances
  • Manage multiple client files, deadlines and commitments with a high level of independence
  • Review work prepared by junior team members and provide practical coaching and feedback
  • Support Staff Accountants with technical questions and file preparation
