Senior Accountant

We’re on the search for a Senior Accountant to come and join our
amazing Team! Working efficiently, yet accurately, if you are looking to be the go-to person for accounting, financial practices and regulations, then we want to speak with you! On our team, you’ll support a Controller in a small, yet high-functioning, office, along with equally amazing teammates. Let’s be amazing together!

What else makes you a great fit for this role?

  • At least two years in a similar role.
  • You are well versed in using multiple types of accounting software and are an expert with MS Office.
  • You establish and maintain positive and professional relationships with customers, clients and coworkers.

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for the entry of both payables and receivables.
  • Manage a full cycle accounting process which will include: bookkeeping, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, cheque issuing, bank reconciliation, credit card payment, and financial statements preparation.
  • Maintain the filing of all necessary accounting documents.
  • Ensure accuracy of accounting records and invoices; review accuracy of expense classification on invoices based on local legislation.
  • Respond to and resolve inquiries and issues related to financial reporting; provide financial accounting analysis & support for operational transactions and budget & forecast activities.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Assist with month end journal entries, reporting and reconciliation.
