Senior Manager , Accounting & Finance at Hays

Role : Senior Accountant

Duration : Permanent

Location : Burlington, ON

Salary : $85,000 - $90,000 + Bonus

Our client, a well-established, privately held organization in the Burlington area, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant.

Your new role

As the Senior Accountant, you will report to the Director of Finance on a range of accounting-related duties. You will be heavily involved in the month-end and year-end processes, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting. You will assist in preparing the monthly financial reporting package in a timely manner, carry out various analyses, and assist in the annual audit process. Additionally, you will assist with daily treasury and cash flow forecasting.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in the role of Senior Accountant, you will need to hold a post-secondary degree / diploma in accounting or a related field. A CPA designation is required, along with at least 3 years of accounting experience either within an accounting firm or a large privately held business. A strong level of Excel and experience using an ERP system are also required.
