About the Opportunity

Assist with leading and managing general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting.

Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows, in compliance with GAAP (ASPE) and company policies.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for decision-making and strategic planning.

Help with internal and external audits by providing documentation and support.

Manage daily treasury and cash flow forecasting.

Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as assigned.

Prepare tax and compliance filings, including HST / QST.

Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.

Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.

Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.

About You

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience.

Extensive experience with ERP systems and financial reporting.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

Experience in a Public Accounting Firm is a plus.

CPA certification is a plus.

Salary Range

$90,000 - $95,000 per year
