Compensation : Base Salary $150,000–$180,000 CAD + Uncapped Commission (OTE ~$300,000+ CAD)

Their award-winning platform powers end-to-end digital transformation for financial institutions around the world.

As they expand their Canadian presence, they are seeking a high-performing Senior Account Executive to join their Mid-Market team. This is a remote-first role for someone based in Toronto or the GTA .

Position Summary

The Senior Account Executive – Mid-Market is responsible for driving new business development across Canadian financial institutions, including banks, credit unions, and wealth management firms. This is a hunter role , focused exclusively on acquiring new enterprise clients and managing long, complex sales cycles.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including solution architects, delivery, and product strategy to bring cutting-edge digital banking solutions to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within mid-market financial institutions
  • Lead full-cycle enterprise SaaS sales processes with deal sizes ranging from $600K to $1.5M+
  • Manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles lasting 10–18 months, including C-suite engagement
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and present tailored solution proposals
  • Consistently meet or exceed annual sales quotas (targeting $2M–$4M in new business)
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting using CRM tools
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to prospects on digital transformation initiatives in banking

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B enterprise software sales, ideally in SaaS or digital platforms
  • Proven track record of acquiring new enterprise clients (“hunter” profile)
  • Experience selling into financial services — including banks, credit unions, or wealth management firms
  • Demonstrated success closing complex deals of $600K+ with 10–18 month sales cycles
  • At least one role in the last 6–8 years with 3+ years of tenure
  • Strong business acumen and consultative selling skills
  • Comfortable navigating large buying committees and complex organizational structures
  • Must be based in Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
  • Nice to Have

  • Experience in fintech or digital banking transformation
  • Familiarity with implementation-heavy SaaS solutions or configurable platforms
  • Understanding of the Canadian banking landscape and regulatory environment
