DNV is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Green Power Monitor and solar data products team. Accurate and reliable weather data is a crucial part of the energy transition, supporting decisions from design and financing through to integration and operation. You will be part of a global team providing high-quality weather data products and services to asset managers & developers, product managers, ISOs/DSOs, governments, and more. The solar data product team is at the cutting edge of DNV’s digital offering and is a fast-growing business unit, making this an exciting environment to develop in. There are significant personal growth opportunities within DNV, as the company is focused on expanding its digital footprint in renewables and beyond. This environment offers a wide range of learning and growth opportunities in relevant fields, with full support from DNV’s dedicated career tracks.

This position will report to the North American Commercial Director and be based in one of our Canadian offices in Montreal, Ontario, or Toronto, following our hybrid work model.

What You’ll Do

  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities, building a pipeline of potential customers in the renewable energy sector
  2. Manage a pipeline of inbound leads and self-sourced outbound leads (approx. 50%/50%) with provided tools and sales enablement materials
  3. Manage the entire sales process, from lead to closing, with timely follow-up and engagement
  4. Meet or exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth
  5. Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate customer and sales activity data
  6. Conduct customer meetings, product demos, and presentations to showcase our digital forecasting solutions
  7. Travel domestically to industry conferences (up to 4 times per year) with potential international travel
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate product communication
  9. Build and sustain strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  10. Provide feedback to product and marketing teams for product enhancements and market strategies
  11. Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market changes to adapt sales strategies

DNV also offers comprehensive benefits including paid time off, health plans, retirement plans, insurance, educational assistance, flexible work options, and employee discounts. Benefits vary based on position, tenure, location, and employee elections.
