Job description

Trolley is the payouts platform for the internet economy. Our vision is to unlock the collective economic opportunity of the internet – for everyone – by building a truly global payouts ecosystem. Through our powerful platform and API, Trolley enables businesses to reach people from all corners of the world and offer creators, on-demand workers, and suppliers the ability to bring their specialized talents to a global market. Businesses use Trolley to automate and manage payouts, collect recipient tax and banking information, and mitigate fraud and risk. It is the go-to payouts solution for hundreds of businesses like Canva, Soundcloud, and Envato, ensuring creators, artists, and suppliers get paid efficiently. Trolley has processed millions of payments, supporting musicians, artists, makers, vendors, and suppliers worldwide.

Trolley is currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our team.

As a Senior Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for working in Trolley’s Revenue team to win new accounts and expand their product adoption over time alongside our Customer Success team. You will work with innovators from Product and Finance teams from some of the world's most impactful brands - like Canva, Epic Games, and Soundcloud. You will attend various industry trade shows and events to build a personal client network and keep up to date on the latest trends in global payouts and compliance. You will collaborate with your peers across the organization and support strategic projects where needed.

In your role you will:

  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative outreach and follow-up communications designed to move leads through the sales funnel.
  • Run demo and solutioning calls with prospective customers over the phone, or (occasionally) in person.
  • Work within our sales team to close leading global entertainment, internet, and gig economy companies.
  • Travel to visit clients in person and attend various marketing events and tradeshows.
  • Entrepreneurially build a portion of your own pipeline through networking, referrals, and outbound activities.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales quotas.
  • Support and expand recently won accounts in collaboration with our Customer Success team.
  • Manage CRM (Salesforce) and sales pipeline using tools like Gong and Apollo.

About you :

  • 5+ years of SaaS Sales experience in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of closing enterprise-level deals (ACV> $150k USD).
  • You want the challenge and opportunity to sell a leading product in a rapidly growing (and competitive) market.
  • You can confidently figure out problems that you do not understand.
  • You are competitive and hyper-organized.
  • You will require equal parts diligence and creativity - with the ideal candidate excelling at both. Things move very fast over here and we’re in a fast-growing global market.
  • You need to have the skills and knowledge to build relationships with and coach some of the most innovative product and finance teams in the world.
  • Describes you: humble, competitive, focused, analytical, creative.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary and equity package.
  • An amazing team of diverse people working together on a common mission.
  • Extended Healthcare benefits including dental, vision, LTD, etc.
  • 4 weeks paid vacation per year + public holidays (+ 1 extra vacation day per year of service)
  • Pension Plan
  • Gym Membership allowance
  • 1/2 day Fridays during summer for July and August
  • Central modern office with weekly lunches (in Halifax, Montreal, or Toronto)
