The Senior Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by leading sales initiatives and managing the company’s most strategic client relationships. The role oversees sales strategy, team performance, and key account development to ensure strong market presence, client satisfaction, and long-term business growth. Core Responsibilities :

  1. Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term retention.
  2. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand client value.
  3. Lead end-to-end sales cycles, including prospecting, needs assessment, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer success, operations) to ensure seamless delivery and client outcomes.
  5. Develop strategic account plans and sales forecasts in alignment with company goals.
  6. Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and other external engagements.
  7. Report on pipeline activity, account status, and performance metrics using CRM tools.

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  1. Develop and execute sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining existing key accounts.
  3. Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust strategies.
  4. Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales initiatives.

Key Account Management

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, handling escalations and negotiations.
  3. Develop customized sales solutions to meet the needs of key accounts.
  4. Monitor client performance, sales trends, and opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  5. Build and mentor a sales team, setting performance targets and providing coaching.
  6. Provide training to enhance sales skills and account management expertise.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to improve the customer journey and service delivery.
  8. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and maintain relationships.

Contract Negotiation & Pricing Strategy

  1. Support the pricing strategy and activities, ensuring profitability while remaining competitive.
  2. Negotiate contracts and agreements with key clients.
  3. Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  1. Track KPIs, including revenue growth, customer retention, and sales team performance.
  2. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  3. Use CRM and analytics tools to monitor sales trends and account health.

Success Metrics

  1. Achievement of sales revenue targets and key account retention goals.
  2. Growth in key account revenue and expansion of business (customer number, product number, and revenue).
  3. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
