An education recruitment agency is seeking Learning Support Assistants in Chatham to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Candidates will work in challenging environments and may progress to permanent roles. Prior experience with SEMH or challenging behaviour is essential. The pay rate is £105 per day. A DBS check is required.
Classroom Support is excited to be working with a school in Chatham that is looking to recruit a number of Learning Support Assistants to start over the next couple of months on temporary to permanent contracts.
The school supports students aged 11-16 with SEMH. The environment can be challenging in terms of behaviour; however, the senior leadership team promotes staff who work hard and make a positive impact on students. There are significant opportunities to progress. Positions start on a supply basis with the possibility of becoming permanent after a few weeks.
The roles will initially be temporary with the potential to go permanent after a period working with the academy through our Classroom Support agency.

The pay rate is £105 per day for suitable candidates, with a temp-to-perm option.

You will need a DBS on the update service or be willing to pay £63.70 for a new DBS if you do not have one, to enable placement in a school.
