• Promote Walmart Programs and Initiatives: support credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable programs where applicable.
• Support Customers at Self Checkout: assist customers to use self checkout quickly and confidently, monitor activity, and complete required checks.
• Explain interventions clearly in a friendly way and escalate cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager.
• Respond to EAS Alerts and complete documentation: log any "Failure to Deactivate" events accurately.
• Manage Scan & Go Equipment: ensure scanners are returned to their storage locations after use.
• Be flexible with shifts: evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Adaptability helps keep the store running smoothly and maintain high-quality service.

• Maintain Self Checkout Area Standards Maintains a clean, safe, and organized self checkout area, ensuring it remains free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and spills.
• Promote Walmart Programs and Initiatives Supports the promotion of company sponsored programs, including credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives, when applicable.
• Support Customers at Self Checkout Helps customers use self checkout quickly and confidently by offering assistance when needed, monitoring activity, and completing required checks.
• Clearly explain any interventions in a friendly, reassuring way and upscale cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager.
• Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete Documentation Responds to EAS alarms in accordance with procedures and accurately completes the “Failure to Deactivate” log.
• Manage Scan & Go Equipment Ensures Scan & Go scanners are returned to their designated storage locations after use.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high‑quality service.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Performs physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
