What you’ll do
- Maintain Self Checkout Area Standards Maintains a clean, safe, and organized self checkout area, ensuring it remains free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and spills.
- Promote Walmart Programs and Initiatives Supports the promotion of company sponsored programs, including credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives, when applicable.
- Support Customers at Self Checkout Helps customers use self checkout quickly and confidently by offering assistance when needed, monitoring activity, and completing required checks. Clearly explain any interventions in a friendly, reassuring way and elevate cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager.
- Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete Documentation Responds to EAS alarms in accordance with procedures and accurately completes the “Failure to Deactivate” log.
- Manage Scan & Go Equipment Ensures Scan & Go scanners are returned to their designated storage locations after use.
Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)
- Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.
