What you'll do...

1. Keep the area neat, clean, and organized, free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
2. Educate customers on the correct and efficient use of self-service options, when applicable.
3. Promote company sponsor programs, such as credit card services, product protection, and charity initiatives, when applicable.
4. Observe customer activities to determine when and if assistance is needed.
5. When interventions and quality checks are required, politely explain the reasons for these checks while reassuring customers that they are normal protocol.
6. Demonstrate knowledge about responding to EAS alarms and filling out the "Failure to Deactivate" Log.
7. Call the Customer Service Manager when the self-service area is low on cash or has a technical issue.
8. Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated place after use.

The starting pay rate for this position is $18.85, with the rate determined based on relevant experience.
