Position Summary... A Self-Checkout Attendant assists customers in processing transactions through the self-service area(s) and provides exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience and drive customer loyalty, while maintaining exemplary customer service by adhering to Walmart's Basic Beliefs and values.

What You'll Do...

1. Keep the area clean and free of fixtures, debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
2. Educate customers on the correct use of self-service options when applicable.
3. Promote company programs such as credit card services, product protection, and charity initiatives when applicable.
4. Observe customer activities to determine when assistance is needed.
5. Politely explain reasons for interventions or quality checks, reassuring customers that these are normal protocol.
6. Respond to EAS alarms and fill out the "Failure to Deactivate" Log.
7. Call the Customer Service Manager for issues like low cash in the area or technical problems.
8. Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated location after use.

Age - 16 or older
