Location: Clavet, SK
Job Type: Full-Time Temporary (14 months)
Pay Rate: $32.46/hr
Shift(s) Available: Rotating (Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00pm or from 2:00 pm to 10 pm)

Key Accountabilities
  • Determine grade and dockage of samples.
  • Operate all equipment associated with the elevator process, including drags, conveyors, scales, rail unload and truck dump.
  • Ensure accurate information of scale weights and transactions are recorded daily.
  • Process samples utilizing lab equipment to obtain and record values in Uniwin and collect samples.
  • Work outdoors in a dusty environment.
  • Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment utilized by facility; determine immediate and long range needs for maintenance and repair work.
  • Troubleshoot minor problems as required, perform minor maintenance, and enter work orders in SAP.
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Perform cleaning and housekeeping general activities according with the sanitation program.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be willing and able to work rotating 8 hr shifts, including nights, overtime, weekends, holidays, and additional hours beyond regularly scheduled shift to cover vacancies or plant demands.
  • Must be able to work in an outdoor, dusty environment.
  • Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, etc., to work in elevated areas of the plant.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must have strong English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have basic computer skills including being able to enter and retrieve data.
  • Must be able to learn computer software programs such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, and SAP

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
