Position Overview

The Security Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the security operations within our facility. This role requires an experienced professional who can lead a team, ensure the safety and security of the premises, and respond to any security incidents effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management, with the ability to coordinate with various departments and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Supervision:
  • Lead, mentor a team of security officers.
  • Assign tasks and shifts, ensuring optimal coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.
  • Other duties as assigned
Security Operations:
  • Oversee day-to-day security operations, including patrolling, monitoring, and responding to incidents.
  • Implement and enforce security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of employees, clients, visitors, and property.
  • Manage access control systems, CCTV monitoring, and alarm systems.
  • Coordinate and lead responses to security incidents, emergencies, and threats.
  • Prepare detailed reports on incidents, breaches, and security issues for leadership team
  • Conduct investigations and follow up on any security breaches or suspicious activities.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure security measures align with overall facility operations.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
  • Maintain clear communication with senior management regarding security matters.
Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal security regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of security protocols, incidents, and personnel training.
  • Conduct regular audits of security systems and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
