Job summary

Bosch Building Technologies North America is seeking a Technician I - Security to assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing security systems. You will work with experienced technicians on low voltage access control, CCTV, and prewiring projects.

Responsibilities include cable installation, servicing alarm systems, customer training, and documenting project progress. Night shifts may be required; travel is possible depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry.
• Proficiency in cable pulling, installation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with security systems, CCTV, and alarms.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with customers and team members.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract
• Able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic cables, connectors, and related components
• Assist in installing and servicing electronic security systems, including pre‑wiring, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarm systems
• Provide customer training and respond to technical inquiries
• Relationship building with clients and prospects for future opportunities
• Administrative duties including project updates to Project Managers, completing and filing all project documentation
• You may be required to work “night shifts” when needed based on project/service requirements
• Perform other tasks as required
