Job description

Overview

We are looking for a Site Supervisor to work Full Time at a Government site in Vancouver.

Rotation: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm

Payrate: $24.25/hour

Responsibilities

• Interior and exterior patrols
• Access Control and visitor verification
• First responder in building emergencies such as evacuations and medical emergencies
• Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols
• Maintain up-to-date Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance assessments
• Submit reports, timesheets, and staff evaluations as per deadlines
• Oversee training and scheduling of Commissionaires
• Lead through empowerment, and monitor staff morale, discipline, and progress
• Ensure the team maintains a professional standard of conduct, dress and deportment
• Liaise with the client to ensure their instructions are carried out as per written policy
• Contact management in situations not covered by Post Orders

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security License
• Have lived in Canada for a minimum of 5 years due to clearance requirements
• OFA 1 certificate
• Previous supervisory experience
• Minimum 3 years security experience
• Excellent English oral and written skills
