Job description

Commissionaires BC is currently looking for Security Supervisor to lead a team of security guards at a public building in Richmond.

Payrate: $25.58
Working hours:

  • Mondays and Fridays 12pm till 8pm

Your 'Must Haves':

  • BC Security Workers License.
  • OFA 1
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing security reports
  • Proficient with MS Office and comfortable with using computers
  • Previous supervisory experience

Job Duties:

  • Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and providing solutions by acting as a liaison between the site and the general public
  • Interior and exterior patrols
  • Access Control and visitor verification
  • Investigatingand reportingincidents promptly and accurately
  • Maintain up-to-date Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance assessments
  • Submit reports,time sheets, and staff evaluations
  • Oversee trainingand scheduling of Commissionaires
  • Leading through empowerment, and monitoring staffmorale, discipline, and progress
  • Ensure team maintainsa professionalstandard ofconduct,dress and deportment
  • Liaise with the client to ensure their instructions are carried out as per written policy
  • Contacting management in situations not covered by Post Orders
