Job Description

Security guards maintain a visible and reassuring presence through patrols and post duties. They act as deterrents to crime, ensure safety, and help create a welcoming environment. Responsibilities include patrolling, engaging with tenants and visitors, enforcing rules, reporting hazards, assisting law enforcement, and responding to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 1-3 guards
• Handle emergency situations proactively
• Liaise with Site Director and Property Management
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Ensure compliance with property standards
• Conduct patrols and engage with tenants and visitors
• Assist with safety concerns and requests
• Report hazards and criminal activity
• Respond to medical emergencies with First Aid, CPR, AED
• Complete reports and manage access control

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
• Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (minimum 2 doses)
• At least 1 year of security experience
