This 13-month contract is onsite in Regina, SK, with an emphasis on security architecture, operational risk, and design documentation. The role involves producing comprehensive design and specification documents (DSD/TSD) and providing guidance for solution implementation, with strong emphasis on Cisco/Azure security domains and data-center

Responsibilities

• Provide security specialist/architect expertise to advise and support Operations in addressing identified security gaps
• Help contextualize and prioritize opportunities based on existing controls, standards and operational risk
• Provide security guidance on solutions developed by Operations
• Produce Detailed Solution Design (DSD): comprehensive documentation of the solution architecture, covering aspects such as system integration, data flow, security measures, and compliance requirements
• Produce Technical Specification Document (TSD): detailed technical requirements and specifications for the infrastructure solution, including hardware and software requirements, network configurations, and other technical details necessary for implementation
• Provide related advice, guidance and consultation and preliminary design and documents (CSD - Conceptual Solution Design, Discovery, Core Infrastructure Planning)

• Pay Rate: C$50.00–C$80.00 / Hour (CAD)

Required Skills

• Projects and support that include Cisco, Azure, network, storage, data center, server and related products, from a security solution architecture perspective

Preferred Skills

• Prior operational administrative work in infrastructure (Server/Storage/Backup/Network administration)
