Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking.

Introduction:

Robertson is seeking a skilled Security Specialist to join our client.

Contract Period:

6 months with potential to extend or convert

Pay Rate:

Starting from $67 per hour

Location:

Toronto, ON

Location Type:

Hybrid; onsite on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Business Hours:

Monday to Friday; 9 AM to 5 PM

Job Responsibilities:

1. Database Encryption (SQL, MongoDB, Oracle)
2. Vormetric/CipherTrust Data At Rest Encryption
3. Hardware Security Module (HSM) - Thales, Entrust, Utimaco Attala
4. Subject Matter Expert in at least one or more cryptographic tools (CipherTrust Manager, Symantec Encryption Manager, Venafi)
5. Key Management
6. Automation using Ansible
7. Expertise on Linux

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

1. 5+ years of expertise in Unix/Linux scripting
2. 3+ years experience with applying native database encryption
3. Strong testing principles and methodologies
4. Strong knowledge of storage (SAN, NAS) and previous experience
5. In-depth knowledge of cryptographic and encryption technologies and standards (Symmetric/Asymmetric cryptography, Public Key cryptography, Digital signing, Message Digest, Certificate Authority)
6. Understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, authentication mechanisms, and networking protocols (SMTP, HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, SNMP)
7. 2+ years experience in scripting in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages
8. All candidates must complete a criminal and credit check as part of the application process
