Job summary

Accenture Security is seeking a senior professional to design and deliver advanced security solutions for clients across industries in Canada. You will lead cross‑functional teams, shape security architectures, and drive proposals from discovery to contract.

You will leverage cloud security, threat management, IAM and governance expertise, working with clients and internal teams to reduce risk and enhance cyber resilience. Travel as required is expected.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's in computer science, business administration or related field is required.
• Candidate should possess over 10 years of IT experience with a minimum of 5-6 years in at least one Security domain.
• Experience in delivery or solution architecture of one or more skill domains (e.g., MDR, Cloud Security, IAM, Threat Management, App Security, GRC).
• Foundation and practical knowledge on AI usage (AI fluency) and cloud-delivered services.

Responsibilities

• Creates solutions requiring in‑depth analysis of variable factors and identifies complex problems.
• Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on deal pursuits with minimal oversight.
• Collaborates with SMEs across consulting, delivery, pricing, and proposals as needed.
• Manages medium to large deal shaping activities including workshops, validation and due diligence.
• Interacts with senior client leadership and internal Accenture teams to align strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Creates solutions in situations in which analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Responsible for identifying and assessing complex problems for area of responsibility
• Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on deal pursuits, with minimal oversight.
• Collaborates across the ecosystem to engage with the appropriate SMEs for solution inputs/ outputs as needed (consulting/ transformation, delivery/ operations, pricing performance and proposal response etc.)
• Manages medium to large/ complex deal shaping activities at a client or within Accenture, including client workshops/ co-innovation, solution validation and due diligence/ contracting deliverables
• Stakeholder management and interaction with senior leadership at a client and/or within Accenture, involving matters that may require acceptance of an alternate approach
• Responsible for executing strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to the team

Basic Qualifications

• A bachelor's in computer science, business administration ore related field is required.

• Skills
• Experience in delivery or solution architecture of one or more skill domains e.g., Managed Detection and Response, Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management, Threat and Vulnerability Management, Application Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
• Must have foundation and practical knowledge on usage of AI (demonstrate AI fluency)
• Should have a good understanding of cloud delivered services/ platforms (IaaS/ PaaS/ SaaS)
• Experience in responding to RFPs, development of proposals, clarifying requirements, confirming scope, and developing a solution with the right considerations and levers
• Experience in cost modelling, resource planning and pricing
• Deep understanding of the delivery aspects of security operations support engagements
• Experience interfacing with Client stakeholders to showcase value proposition
• Demonstrated creativity in complex problem solving and ability to work under pressure
• Strong project/program management experience
• Effective communicator with great interpersonal skills and the ability to be credible with clients
• Ability to take business problems, existing processes and technology and translate these into service and process requirements
• Strong analytical skills with a structured problem-solving approach
• High energy levels and commitment to stringent timelines
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed to work together with clients and account teams on deal pursuits or as requested by leadership

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
