Job summary

Allied Universal Security Services is seeking a Security Professional for our Esterhazy, Saskatchewan location on a casual basis. The role covers access control, monitoring, and responding to emergencies with a professional image.

The ideal candidate will have a Saskatchewan guard license (or willingness to obtain), 25+ years old, First Aid/CPR, and a valid driver’s license. On-call shifts and reliable vehicle access are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Saskatchewan security guard training certificate or be willing to obtain one.
• Experience with access control systems and alarm monitoring is required.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking is required.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems is required.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for 30+ hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must be available to work on-call shifts.
• Must have access to a reliable vehicle.
• Must pass drug test.
• Must be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen.
• Must have a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area.
• Present a polished, professional, customer-friendly image at all times.
• Ensure facility safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to alarms and emergencies.
• Undertake site-specific training and follow directions from the Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate good judgment and leadership in emergencies or incidents.
• Maintain meticulous records, write reports, and communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Operate/monitor security room equipment and complete site-required training.
• Perform Vehicle Gate and Console duties.

Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Shifts: Various Shifts; Monday through Sunday

Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Guard to oversee security operations at our Esterhazy, Saskatchewan location.

Requirement:

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid SK security guard training certificate or willing to obtain.
• The companywill provide the security guard training if needed.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada over 30hours per week.

• Must be available to work on-call shifts.

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions:

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer-friendly image at all times
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site-specific training, follow direction and guidance from theSite Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site-required training
• Vehicle Gate and Console duties
