Allied Universal in Canada is hiring Professional Security Guards and Mobile Security Supervisors to protect personnel, property and assets for a prestigious client.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 or older (for insurance purposes).
• Must have a full G driver license.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Must have a valid ON Security Guard Licence.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada over 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized activity and ensure safety.
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms and respond to security breaches.
• Perform security checks of doors, windows, and access points to prevent entry.
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees while enforcing security policies.
• Report incidents to supervisors and authorities, documenting observations and actions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel during incidents.
• Maintain logs of patrols, incidents and observations as required.
• Inspect security equipment, vehicles and emergency supplies; report deficiencies.
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits for client premises.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently hiring Mobile Security Supervisors to provide professional, front-line security services for a prestigious financial institution. As a Mobile Security Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets through patrols, monitoring, and incident response. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions:

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities
• Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies
• Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively
• Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation
