Allied Universal is seeking Security Operations Specialist in Toronto, Ontario.

Job Title: Security Operations Specialist

Location: Toronto, ON

Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $31.00 per hour

Shifts: Monday - Friday, 0800 - 1600

Requirements: 5-year Residency in Canada to obtain clearance

Overview :

We are looking for a vigilant and detail-oriented Security Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining security and safety through the monitoring and reporting of incidents, ensuring adherence to security protocols, and responding to emergencies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the main point of contact for the Client’s Incident Reporting Centre (IRC) for incident investigations and follow ups.
• Support the IRC with incident and major event response specific to the Client’s international head office in downtown Toronto.
• Assist the Client’s Enhanced Personnel Protection team with support at local events in Toronto and event security planning tasks, including news and social media scans specific to event locales.
• Troubleshoot physical security technology equipment at the Client’s international head office.
• Conduct duress button testing on sitel in coordination with the IRC.
• Support with the Physical Security Risk Assessment (PSRA) process at the Client’s international head office.
• Support high risk terminations taking place on-site.
• Support the data collection process for the Client’s daily intelligence report.
• Help with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) walkthroughs, emergency response, and investigations on-site.
• Provide support to the Client’s Executive office as needed.
• Provide escorts to and from the parking garage to the Client’s employees and executive members as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-2 years of experience working in a security operations center
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be able to obtain site specific security clearance
• Familiarity with operating technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• First Aid and CPR
