Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Security Operations Analyst (AI Training) for a fully remote hourly contract. You will analyze SOC scenarios, evaluate AI handling of alerts, and help refine detection logic and triage workflows.

The role focuses on real-world alignment between AI outputs and how security analysts operate in practice. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in SOC or incident response, with strong SIEM familiarity and clear written communication.

Formación

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role.
• Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage, and investigation workflows.
• Distinguishing true positives from false positives and noise.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to explain reasoning clearly.
• Self-motivated and comfortable with independent, task-based work.

About The Role

We're partnering with leading AI research labs to build the next generation of AI systems that reason through security incidents like a seasoned analyst. As a Security Operations Analyst, your real-world SOC expertise will directly shape how AI detects, investigates, and responds to threats — making enterprise security AI smarter and more effective for everyone.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You set your schedule and work as much or as little as fits your life.

What You'll Do

• Analyze realistic SOC scenarios — alerts, incidents, and investigation workflows — and evaluate how well AI systems handle them
• Classify threat severity, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate response actions
• Review AI-generated detection logic and triage workflows for accuracy and real-world alignment

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in a SOC, incident response, or security operations role
• Solid familiarity with SIEM platforms, alert triage, and investigation workflows
• Skilled at distinguishing true positives from false positives and noise
• Strong written communication skills — you can explain your reasoning clearly
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working independently on task‑based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or malware analysis
• Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST
• Background in cloud security, endpoint detection, or network analysis
• Prior exposure to AI or data labeling workflows
