Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training) to analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure and identify risks and failure patterns. You will review IAM, networking, storage, and container security, and classify gaps based on real-world impact.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of hands-on cloud experience and a solid grasp of cloud security concepts. This is a remote, flexible contract role with 10–40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with cloud environments in production.
• Solid understanding of cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security.
• Experience analyzing real-world cloud security misconfigurations and incidents.

Your hands-on knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure — the misconfigurations, the blast radii, the incidents you've seen unfold — is exactly what's needed to train the next generation of AI security systems. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role that fits around your schedule.

What You'll Do

• Analyze real-world cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks and failure patterns
• Review and evaluate IAM, networking, storage, and container security issues
• Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud-related failures based on real-world impact

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments in production
• Solid understanding of cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security
• Familiarity with real-world misconfigurations, security incidents, and how they elevate
• Able to reason clearly about blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact
• Strong written communication — you can explain complex security concepts clear

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, CCSP, etc.)
• Background in incident response, penetration testing, or cloud architecture
• Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK Cloud or CSA CCM
