Qualifications

Job description

The Security Manager leads, manages and initiates programs, policies and practices that impact the health and safety of all employees, guests and patrons. Additionally, the Security Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of security operations within the casino to ensure the safety and protection of guests, employees, property, and gaming assets. This position requires strong leadership, regulatory compliance knowledge (especially under Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries and Gaming Control Act guidelines, The Private Investigators and Security Guards Act, & Health & Safety legislation/regulations), as well as crisis management skills.

Qualifications and Requirements

As a Security Manager you excel at communication with the ability to see the big picture, anticipate issues or concerns and notice what is happening in all areas of the resort. A minimum of three years leading and managing a team through various critical situations would be ideal. Current up to date First Aid and AED training would be considered an asset. Past experience dealing with RCMP, intoxication and strong understanding of responsible alcohol usage is necessary.

The successful candidate will have to be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. The incumbent must obtain and maintain “Smart Choices” Certification. Must obtain and maintain approval from the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba and must have and maintain a Manitoba Security Guard license.
