What You Will Do

As a key member of our team, the Commercial Installer/Service Technician will work onsite with our commercial clients to install and program integrated security systems. The role also involves dismantling and reconstructing equipment as needed.

How You Will Do It

• Install devices and dismantle or reconstruct equipment as required by the customer or company standards
• Operate safely to prevent injuries and property damage, and clean up installation debris
• Contact customers prior to scheduled installations to confirm appointments
• Prepare estimates following supervisor instructions
• Follow schematic wiring diagrams and hookup procedures accurately
• Test system operation and ensure proper service connection
• Read and interpret blueprints as needed
• Manage installation teams on larger projects when applicable
• Coach and mentor less experienced installers
• Travel using provided company vehicle and equipment as required

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Technical school training is a plus
• Experience with electrical and electronic equipment and mechanical proficiency
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Safe operation of fleet vehicles
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Certifications

• Networking certification
• Access control certification
• CCTV certification
• Experience bending conduit
