Position: Special Operations Group (SOG) Reporting directly to the Account Manager

Schedule: Continental rotation shifts, Open availability is required, need coverage for days, nights, evenings, afternoons

Pay rate: $20/hr

Training rate: $19/hr

Location: Several sites from Hamilton, Burlington to Niagara Falls

What does a Security Guard in Hamilton do?

Ensure the protection of people, assets, and property.

1. Site Operations Management: Familiarize with and adapt to the unique requirements of all assigned sites.
2. Provide on-call support to cover high-risk locations or critical operational gaps.
3. Ensure a thorough understanding of site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Advanced Report Writing: Review and analyze reports for patterns or potential threats.

Security Enforcement: Conduct regular patrols and inspections of premises to deter unauthorized activity.

De-escalation and Conflict Resolution.

Professional Conduct and Appearance.

Collaboration and Leadership.

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Hamilton

1. A valid security guard license and first aid card.
2. Good to have an Ontario driver's license G or G-2.
3. Access to a reliable vehicle and willing to commute.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
5. Proficient with computers.
6. Available to work flexible hours.
7. Have a clear criminal background.
8. Be eligible to work in Canada.
