Job summary

Commissionaires BC is seeking a detail-oriented Security Professional to join the Kelowna Airport team in an administrative and scheduling support role. The position runs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8am–12pm with a payrate of $22.66/hr.

You will support the Site Supervisor with scheduling, payroll submissions, and adherence to site processes, while assisting with general administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations behind the scenes at Kelowna Airport YLW.

Qualifications

• BC Security License required.
• Must have resided in Canada for 5+ years and be able to obtain government clearance (RAIC).
• Comfortable using a computer.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Previous scheduling or administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Supervisor with scheduling and site coverage.
• Coordinate with assigned guards on compliance issues.
• Assist Site Supervisor with payroll submissions.
• Follow Commissionaires BC processes for absences, vacations and other leave requests by site staff.
• Support Site Supervisor with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

Commissionaires BC is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Security Professional to join our team at Kelowna Airport in an administrative and scheduling support position. If you have strong computer skills, scheduling experience, and enjoy supporting operations behind the scenes, we'd like to hear from you.

Position Available: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8am till 12pm

Some of your responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Site Supervisor with scheduling and coverageat the site
• Working with assigned guards for any compliance issues
• Assisting Site Supervisor with payroll submission
• Following Commissionaires BC processes for site absences, vacation requests and other leave requests by site staff
• Supporting the Site Supervisor with ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Your Must-Haves:

• BC Security License
• You have resided in Canada for 5+ years and have the ability to successfully obtain a government clearance (RAIC)
