A local security company in Nova Scotia is seeking a Security Guard to ensure the safety of clients and property. Responsibilities include conducting patrols and monitoring security systems. Commissionaires Nova Scotia (CNS) is the province’s not-for-profit provider of security, safety, training, and identification services. Position: Security Guard
Competition Number: CNS 2025-09-10
Location: Port Hawkesbury (Cape Breton, Nova Scotia)
Reports to: Site Supervisor
Rate of Pay: $18.00 per hour. Scale of compensation is variable, and reflective of site contracts. Please note, some of our sites are unionized work environments.
Working Hours: Rotating 12-hour shifts, various days/nights of the week. Initially, part-time possibly moving to full-time.
