Position Details

• Site: Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus Access Control
• Address: 1030 Ouellette Ave, Windsor, ON N9A 1E1
• Hours: Monday to Friday (4PM - 10PM), Saturday and Sunday (4PM - 10PM)
• Payrate: $22.07/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol hospital grounds, including parking areas, hallways, patient rooms, and entrances to ensure safety and security.
• Control access points, allowing only authorized individuals into restricted areas.
• Inspect and screen bags or cargo, perform passenger searches, and monitor screening checkpoints.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors, assisting staff, and guiding guests.
• De-escalate conflicts, document incidents, and collaborate with hospital staff and law enforcement.
• Enforce hospital policies and address violations professionally.

Prerequisites

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C
• Diploma in Police Foundations, Protection Security & Investigations, Border Services, or Criminology
• Covid-19 vaccination (two doses) and immunization records
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
• Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) or willingness to complete training at Paladin’s expense with a 6-month commitment
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
