Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard for a long-term care facility in Brampton, ON. The role requires 12-hour continental overnight shifts from 8pm to 8am, with a pay rate of $18.15/hour.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Ontario Security Guard Licence, First Aid & CPR certification, and strong customer service skills. Responsibilities include patrolling, access control, incident reporting, and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional security presence while maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors, staff, and contractors.
• Monitor access control systems and conduct visitor screening in accordance with site policies.
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the facility and surrounding property.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, medical situations, and alarms.
• Prepare detailed incident, occurrence, and daily activity reports.
• Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures while providing exceptional customer service.
• Assist staff, residents, and visitors with directions, escorts, and general inquiries.
• De-escalate conflict situations using professional communication and problem-solving techniques.
• Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activity or security concerns.
• Support emergency response procedures, including fire alarms, evacuations, and lockdowns.
