Job description

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel. Conducts periodic patrols to check for irregularities, inspect protection devices, and fire control equipment. Maintains order and enforces regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and premises. Controls access to the site through the admittance process. Patrols the assigned area on foot or in vehicle, checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances/exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons. Protects evidence or the scene of incidents such as accidents, emergencies, or security investigations. Responds to incidents including fire, medical emergencies, bomb threats, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergencies, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and others. Prepares logs and reports as required. Specific duties may vary and be documented separately. Additional duties may be assigned, and functions modified based on business needs.

Job Requirements

• Ability to meet the physical and mental requirements of the job, including seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, including climbing stairs and walking on uneven terrain.
• Physical ability to frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Must meet licensing requirements for Security Guards and maintain compliance.
