Job Details

Guardteck Security is looking for a Full-Time Security guard in Surrey BC.

Key Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
• Must have a valid BC Security License
• Must have a valid OFA 1 certificate
• Must have at least 6 months of security experience
• Demonstrated customer service experience preferably in a fast-paced or challenging environment
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy discretion and professionalism
• Must be comfortable interacting with individuals experiencing homelessness
• Understanding and consideration of individuals with medical or mental health conditions
• Compliance with all on-site policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Providing respectful and effective service to all clients and visitors
• Addressing inquiries concerns or incidents in a calm and professional manner
• Maintaining a safe and supportive environment on site
• Reporting and documenting incidents or concerns in accordance with protocol
• Collaborating with other team members and support services as needed
