Job summary

Synterra Security Solutions LP is seeking security personnel for assignments at Alamos Magino/ Island Gold, in Dubreuilville, ON. The role involves outdoor work with 14 on/14 off rotation, performing access control, patrols and incident response on mine/energy sites.

Candidates must have a valid Ontario Security Guard license, First Aid certificate, a G-class driver’s license and a recent criminal background check. Transportation is provided and some times may require self-transport.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' security or related experience.
• Must hold valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Valid First Aid Certificate.
• Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License.
• Criminal background check within last 3 months.
• Transportation provided; may need own transport occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control for facilities and sites.
• Conduct vehicle searches and inspect property per client rules.
• Perform routine property inspections and administrative duties.
• Conduct foot patrols of buildings and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents and enforce client and site rules and regulations.

Job Summary

Rotation: 14on 14off

Wage: $23.00

Work Setting: Private security agency, mine/energy site

Type of Assignments: Access control, vehicle search, property inspections, administrative duties, Foot patrols of buildings, respond to incidents on property, enforcing client and site rules and regulations

Work Conditions: Outside, combinations of sitting, standing and walking

Required Documents
