Job summary

Synterra Security Solutions LP is hiring a full-time security officer for mine/energy sites in Ontario. You will perform access control, vehicle searches, property inspections and patrols to enforce site rules.

Wage is $23.00 per hour with 14 on/14 off rotation. Pre-employment drug/alcohol testing is required; valid Ontario Security Guard Licence, First Aid Certificate and G Driver’s Licence are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence required.
• Pre employment Drug and Alcohol testing required before deployment.
• Minimum of 6 months in security or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Access control, vehicle search, property inspections, administrative duties.
• Foot patrols of buildings, respond to incidents on property, enforcing client and site rules and regulations.
• Work Conditions: Outside, Inside, combinations of sitting, standing and walking.
