Job Skills / Requirements

Guardteck Security is looking for Part-Time Security Guards for a site in New Westminster.

What you should have :

• Valid British Columbia Basic Security Training
• Minimum 6 months security experience
• Must be confident in verbal conflict de-escalation
• Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
• Able to complete high-quality reports
• Strong customer service skills; friendly accommodating but assertive and steadfast when it comes to rules enforcement for both Occupants and People of Interest encountered around the building.
• Professional approach to role; acting in a disciplined honest and ethical manner
• Able to patrol and stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to follow procedures and set routines effectively
• Strong observation and communication skills
