Job summary

League is a fast-growing technology company in Canada seeking an intermediate security engineer who balances engagement work with hands-on engineering. You will run security reviews, participate in threat modeling, and assess vendors while developing tooling to automate reviews and embed security into the SDLC.

You will work with AI-enabled features and communicate risk to engineers and leadership. Canada-based role with Toronto presence and remote-eligible options across Canada/US.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in application or product security.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization including OAuth 2.0 / OIDC.
• Familiarity with CI / CD and software supply chain security.
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and mitigations.
• Experience with AI and LLM application security.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security reviews of product features, integrations, and platform changes.
• Participate in threat modeling to identify design risks.
• Perform security assessments of applications, APIs, and cloud configuration.
• Review AI-enabled product features for prompt injection and exposure risks.
• Triage and drive remediation with owning teams.
• Automate security checks and embed controls into SDLC.
• Build training materials on secure coding practices.
• Contribute to security standards and internal docs.
• Review third-party vendors processing League data.
