Arobas Personnel is looking for a Security Engineer for a permanent position with one of our clients located in Montreal.

What will your day-to-day look like?
You will play a key role in the design, implementation, and management of robust security solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing security solutions that span across people, processes, and technologies, aligning with enterprise architecture and business needs.
- Supporting business analysis activities to ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
- Exploring and evaluating emerging security technologies to enhance infrastructure and data protection.
- Developing and executing test plans to ensure secure and successful implementations.
- Writing clear and concise technical and non-technical documentation.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate technical solutions into business value.
- Managing and optimizing security solutions across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments.
- Implementing and maintaining Zero Trust Architecture, CSPM solutions, and SIEM/SOAR tools (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar).
- Applying expertise in programming/scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Java, Scala, etc.).
- Performing network security analysis (public/private IP, DNS, DHCP, OSI model, MAC addressing).
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and SOX.
- Participating in incident response, policy implementation, and system monitoring.
- Understanding and applying CI/CD pipeline security concepts.
- Providing hands-on support with Windows, Linux/Unix, and macOS systems.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Security Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Strong experience configuring and managing Zscaler (ZIA & ZPA) environments — including policy creation, SSL inspection, VPN configurations, and advanced troubleshooting.
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel is highly desirable.
- Proven experience with Lacework Cloud Security, Microsoft Security Solutions, or equivalent tools.
- Strong familiarity with security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GCIH/ECIH.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments, supporting both cloud infrastructure and corporate systems.
- A team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
