Raise is seeking a Security Developer in Calgary, Alberta to secure client login processes and build new authentication tools within the Identity, Application and Offensive Security team. The role focuses on Passkey implementations for Wealth Management, dynamic step-up authentication, and biometric SSO.
You will design, implement and review authentication flows, support CIAM initiatives, and guide other teams on secure practices. This contract runs ~2 months 14 days with possible extension.

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
As our client’s next Security Developer, you will be a key technical expert responsible for securing all client login processes to safeguard client identities while ensuring a smooth and secure digital experience. You will achieve this by designing and building new authentication tools and features, resolving complex technical issues, and guiding other teams on secure practices.
This role sits within the Identity, Application, and Offensive Security team, heavily supporting the CIAM Digital Program on high-roadmap items such as Passkey implementations for Wealth Management, Dynamic Step-Up authentication, and Native Biometric SSO.
A requirement for candidates to be considered for this role will be to complete a criminal and credit check (including Canadian Credit Risk Score)
