Job Description: Security Business Analyst - Remote Contract

The Security Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security concepts and technologies, and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

1. Gather and analyze business requirements for cybersecurity solutions.
2. Develop and maintain security requirements specifications.
3. Collaborate with technical stakeholders to design and implement security solutions.
4. Test and validate security solutions.
5. Provide training and support to users on security solutions.
6. Facilitate workshops and presentations with clients and stakeholders.
7. Identify and evaluate critical success parameters, factors, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in security engineering or a related field.
3. Strong understanding of security concepts and technologies.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
6. Experience with end-to-end cybersecurity technology implementation projects.
7. Extensive knowledge of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Account Management (PAM).
8. Familiarity with cloud-based IAM solutions such as Azure AD, AWS IAM, or GCP IAM is an asset.
9. Certifications like IIBA CBAP or PMI-BA are advantageous.
10. Knowledge of government and healthcare environments, including regulations like FIPPA and HIPAA, is a plus.
