Job summary

The City of Vaughan is looking for a motivated individual to support Corporate Security and Facility Management Operations. You will assist with architectural drawings in AutoCAD and help manage related data and processes.

You will also audit security systems documentation (CCTV, access control, alarms), prepare presentations, and help with daily admin tasks and project coordination. Collaboration with City departments is essential.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a University or College program with AutoCAD focus or related field.
• Proficient in MS Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel; eager to learn more software.
• Strong data analysis, research and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating or updating facility and site drawings in AutoCAD.
• Audit security systems documentation including CCTV, access control and alarms.
• Prepare presentations using PowerPoint or similar tools.
• Support daily administration and project coordination tasks.
• Conduct data/clerical entry and assist field data collection.
• Engage with internal/external stakeholders and attend meetings.
