About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Analyst II to join our Data Protection group. You will analyze the impact of quantum computing on cryptographic systems and develop strategies for a secure transition to post-quantum cryptography.
What You'll Do Here
- Research quantum algorithms and their potential to break cryptographic methods.
- Evaluate vulnerabilities of current cryptographic protocols against quantum capabilities.
- Apply cryptography knowledge to deliver post-quantum crypto solutions.
- Identify and assess post-quantum cryptography algorithms and standards.
- Develop strategies for migrating to PQC algorithms.
- Collaborate with advisors and developers to integrate PQC solutions.
- Monitor advancements in quantum computing and their implications.
- Contribute to cryptography standards and best practices.
- Analyze performance and security of PQC implementations.
- Stay updated on research in quantum computing and cryptography.
- Communicate technical findings effectively.
- Potentially develop new quantum-resistant cryptographic solutions.
What You Bring To The Table
- Understanding of classical cryptography and protocols.
- Knowledge of quantum mechanics and quantum computing principles.
- Familiarity with relevant quantum algorithms.
- 3-6 years of experience in cryptographic analysis.
- Programming skills in Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience with cryptographic libraries and security frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Interest in cryptography and quantum computing.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields.
- Experience with post-quantum algorithms and platforms.
- Knowledge of hardware security modules and vulnerabilities.
- Research or publication experience is a plus.
- Bilingualism in Quebec is required.
- Eligible to work in Canada.
