Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and triage security alerts from tools such as Fortinet Firewalls, Azure Defender, CrowdStrike, Cisco Umbrella, and others
• Conduct initial response to security incidents, escalating and coordinating with relevant teams for full remediation
• Tune detection rules, alert logic, and contribute to ongoing improvement of threat detection strategies
• Provide regular reports and insights on threat trends, alert volumes, and SOC performance to leadership
• Assist in refining SOC processes, playbooks, and documentation to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Collaborate cross-functionally with IT, DevOps, and Risk teams to strengthen the organization’s security posture

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT security, including 3+ years in a SOC Analyst or equivalent role
• Expertise in network, endpoint, and cloud security, with strong hands-on experience using tools like CrowdStrike and Fortinet Firewalls
• Proficient in analyzing threats, understanding attacker behavior, and interpreting logs from a wide range of security platforms
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple incidents in a dynamic, high-pressure environment
• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese (spoken and written); security certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCIA, GCIH) and scripting skills in Python or PowerShell are a plus

Pay Rate : $85-100 / hour
