A forward-leaning tech organization is seeking a seasoned Security Operations Manager to lead and mature its cloud security operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments. This high-impact role blends technical depth with strategic oversight, offering a unique opportunity to shape cloud-native defenses at scale.
You'll work at the intersection of engineering, DevOps, and risk — embedding security into fast-moving infrastructure and application pipelines without blocking innovation.
Expect to architect and tune real-time threat detection, manage compliance automation, and respond decisively to emerging risks in a complex, multi-cloud environment. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in both tactical response and long-term security architecture.
8+ years in security operations, cloud security engineering, or related domains, with deep hands-on experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP
Proficiency with cloud-native security tools such as AWS GuardDuty, Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender, or GCP Security Command Center
Strong command of cloud IAM, network segmentation, API security, and automated incident response workflows
Familiarity with SAST/DAST tools such as Veracode, OWASP ZAP, SonarQube, or Snyk, and experience embedding them in CI/CD pipelines
Working knowledge of WAF tuning, bot detection, and DDoS mitigation across multi-cloud networks
Relevant certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, SC-200, Google Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, or OSCP
Hands-On Engineering: 70%
Team Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work: 30%
