An established educational institution invites applications for the role of Secondary Unqualified Occasional Teachers. Unqualified occasional teachers are offered work on an ‘as needed’ basis in our schools, on short notice, when permanent teachers are absent. Successful candidates will only be offered work when no qualified teachers are available. We expect unqualified occasional teachers to have regular availability to accept assignments across some or all of our secondary schools in the Grand Erie area, which includes the City of Brantford and the Counties of Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk.
Interested applicants must have successfully completed an undergraduate degree and be currently working towards a Bachelor of Education degree. Applications should include:
Daily rate of pay: approximately $236.35 per day + vacation pay.
Effective Date: As soon as mutually arranged, until June 30, 2025, for a maximum of 10 days.
